What cookies are

Cookies and similar browser storage can remember choices, support security or help measure how a website is used.

Necessary storage

The website stores a consent preference so the cookie banner does not ask on every page. WordPress may set necessary login or security cookies for authorised administrators. These are not used for advertising.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 is loaded only when a valid measurement ID has been configured and the visitor chooses “Allow analytics”. Consent Mode defaults analytics and advertising storage to denied. Analytics should be configured to avoid unnecessary personal data and duplicate tracking.

Facebook content

The homepage shows a local placeholder until a visitor selects “Show latest post”. That action loads the Facebook Page Plugin from Meta. Meta may then receive information such as the visitor’s IP address, browser details and the page being viewed, and may use cookies or similar storage under its own policies. Visitors can use the ordinary Facebook link instead of loading the embedded feed.

Changing your choice

Use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer to reopen the consent controls. Clearing browser storage may also reset the choice.

Supplier details

The final cookie names, lifetimes, analytics property and any additional services must be verified after the owner confirms the production configuration.

Legal review

This is a practical draft, not a guarantee of compliance. It should be reviewed if advertising, embedded media, heatmaps, chat, third-party forms or other tracking are introduced.
